Austria 2024 3 Euro Colored Collector Coin Glowing Under UV Light – Blue Tang.

This is the seventh coin in the “Luminous Marine Life” series.

The reverse of the coin features a wide band resembling an ancient porthole, framing a water scene with a blue tang at its center. The background depicts various coral species and two yellow fish, as juvenile blue tangs are of this color. When illuminated by ultraviolet light, the blue tang glows green and slightly bluish.

The obverse of the coin depicts silhouettes of all 12 magical sea creatures from the “Glowing Water World” series. Air bubbles rise among them, and the tail fin disappears beneath the waves on the right.
