Austria 2025 3 euro colour collector coin glowing in UV light – Troll.

This is the first coin in the ‘Fantastic mythical creatures’ series.

On the coin’s obverse, the troll is rendered in vivid detail, almost as if it could step right out of the coin. A stone bridge with it textured relief, golden ornamentation and a mysterious four-toed footprint enhance the fairy-tale atmosphere. But the true magic reveals itself under UV light as colours burst into a brilliant glow, the word ‘Troll’ shines vividly and the creature seems to come to life before your eyes.

The reverse of the coin shows an intricately decorated key with the letter ‘F’ representing the first letter of the name of the coin series – ‘Fantastic mythical creatures’. Stars shimmer all around it and the irregularly shaped letters look as if they have sprung from a magical world.
