Austria 2024 3 Euro Colored Collector Coin Glowing Under UV Light – Hawaiian Bobtail Squid.

This is the eighth coin in the “Glowing Water World” series.

The reverse of the coin features a wide band reminiscent of an ancient porthole, framing a water scene with a dwarf squid at the center, a small part of its tentacles extending into the wide porthole band. In the background, a sea snail (on the left) and corals are visible. When UV light illuminates the light brown and black spotted squid, it begins to glow red and blue.

The obverse of the coin depicts silhouettes of all 12 magical sea creatures from the “Glowing Water World” series. Air bubbles rise among them, and the tail fin disappears beneath the waves on the right.
