Leuchtturm “Ultra Intercept” – these are premium quality coin capsules (patented “Intercept” technology) providing active protection against corrosion and wear. The foam ring inside the capsule contains copper particles that neutralize corrosive gases. The capsule protects the coin from corrosion for up to 15 years if the coin capsule is not opened.

When the capsule’s corrosion protection weakens, the foam ring changes color (green), which does not harm the coins but indicates that the capsule needs to be replaced.
