1. General Provisions.
- 1.1. These rules for the purchase/sale of goods (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) are a legally binding document for the Parties, which establishes the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Buyer and the Seller when the Buyer purchases goods in the Eurocoins online store.
- 1.2. The Seller reserves the right to change, amend, or supplement these rules at any time, taking into account the requirements set by legal acts. The Buyer is informed on the Eurocoins online store website. The Rules applicable at the time of placing the order apply to the Buyer when shopping in the Eurocoins online store.
- 1.3. The right to purchase in the online store is granted to:
- 1.3.1. capable natural persons, i.e., persons who have reached the age of majority and whose capacity is not restricted by court order;
- 1.3.2. minors from 14 to 18 years of age, only with the consent of parents or guardians, except in cases where they can independently manage their income;
- 1.3.3. legal entities;
- 1.3.4. authorized representatives of all the above-mentioned persons.
- 1.4. By confirming the rules, the Seller also guarantees that, based on point 1.3 of the rules, the Buyer has the right to purchase goods in the Eurocoins online store.
- 1.5. The contract between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded from the moment the Buyer, having formed a shopping cart in the Eurocoins online store, indicated the delivery address, selected the payment method, and familiarized themselves with the Seller’s rules, clicks the “Confirm Order” button (see point 5 “Ordering Goods, Prices, Payment Procedure, Terms”).
- 1.6. Each contract concluded between the Buyer and the Seller is stored in the Eurocoins online store.
2. Personal Data Protection.
- 2.1. The Buyer can order goods in the Eurocoins online store by:
- 2.1.1. registering in the Eurocoins online store – entering the data requested during registration;
- 2.1.2. not registering in the Eurocoins online store.
- 2.2. When ordering goods by the methods specified in point 2.1 of the rules, the Buyer must provide the necessary personal data for the proper execution of the order in the respective information fields provided by the Seller: name, surname, exact delivery address, phone number, and email address.
- 2.3. By confirming these rules, the Buyer agrees that the personal data provided in point 2.2 will be processed for the purposes of selling goods/services in the Eurocoins online store, Seller’s activity analysis, and direct marketing.
- 2.4. By agreeing that the Buyer’s personal data will be processed for the purpose of selling goods/services in the Seller’s online store, the Buyer also agrees that informational messages necessary for order fulfillment will be sent to the Buyer’s specified email address and phone number.
- 2.5. By registering in the Eurocoins online store and ordering goods, the Buyer undertakes to protect and not disclose login data to anyone.
3. Buyer’s Rights and Obligations.
- 3.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase goods in the Eurocoins online store in accordance with these Rules and the procedures established in other information sections of this online store.
- 3.2. The Buyer undertakes to accept the ordered goods and pay the agreed price for them.
- 3.3. If the data provided in the Buyer’s registration form changes, the Buyer must update them immediately.
- 3.4. The Buyer undertakes not to transfer their login data to third parties. If the Buyer loses their login data, they must immediately inform the Seller using the contact methods specified in the “Contacts” section (phone/email).
- 3.5. By using the Eurocoins online store, the Buyer agrees with these purchase-sale Rules and undertakes to comply with them and not violate the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
4. Seller’s Rights and Obligations.
- 4.1. The Seller undertakes to create all conditions for the Buyer to properly use the services provided by the Eurocoins online store.
- 4.2. If the Buyer attempts to harm the stability and security of the Seller’s Eurocoins online store or violates their obligations, the Seller has the right to immediately and without notice restrict or suspend the Buyer’s ability to use the online store or, in exceptional cases, cancel the Buyer’s registration.
- 4.3. The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer’s right to privacy regarding the personal information belonging to the Buyer, specified in the Eurocoins online store registration form.
- 4.4. The Seller undertakes to deliver the goods ordered by the Buyer to the address specified by the Buyer.
5. Ordering Goods, Prices, Payment Procedure, and Terms.
- 5.1. The Buyer can purchase in the Eurocoins online store 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless the online store is unavailable due to technical work.
- 5.2. The contract becomes valid from the moment the Buyer clicks the “Confirm Order” button, and upon receiving the order, the Seller confirms it by sending a confirmation email to the Buyer’s specified email address.
- 5.3. The prices of goods in the Eurocoins online store and in the formed order are indicated in euros, including VAT for numismatic items.
- 5.4. The Buyer pays for the goods in one of the following ways:
- 5.4.1. Payment by bank transfer – this is an advance payment when the Buyer pays for the goods by transferring money for the order to the Eurocoins online store’s bank account. The Buyer must enter the order number provided in the order confirmation email in the “Payment Purpose” field of the payment form.
- 5.4.2. Cash payment – when the goods are collected in person.
- 5.5. The Buyer undertakes to pay for the goods immediately, as only upon receipt of payment for the goods is the order package formed and the delivery term calculated.
- 5.6. The Seller issues an electronic version of the invoice to the Buyer. No paper invoice will be sent with the goods package.
6. Delivery of Goods.
- 6.1. When choosing the goods delivery service at the time of order, the Buyer undertakes to specify the exact delivery location.
- 6.2. The Buyer undertakes to accept the goods themselves. In the event that the Buyer cannot accept the goods themselves and the goods are delivered to the specified address, the Buyer has no right to make claims to the Seller regarding the delivery of goods to the wrong entity.
- 6.3. The goods are delivered by a representative authorized by the Seller (courier) or a representative of the Lithuanian Post, at the Buyer’s choice.
- 6.4. The Seller sends the goods to the Buyer within 2-5 business days from the payment of the order.
- 6.5. In all cases, the Seller is released from liability for the violation of the delivery terms if the goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are delivered late due to the Buyer’s fault or due to circumstances beyond the Seller’s control.
- 6.6. The Buyer must immediately inform the Seller if the shipment is delivered in damaged packaging, if unordered goods or an incorrect quantity of goods are delivered, or if the goods are incomplete.
- 6.7. In all cases, if the Buyer notices packaging damage during delivery, they must indicate notes in the shipment delivery document provided by the courier or write a separate report on these damages. This must be done in the presence of the courier. If such actions are not taken, the Seller is released from liability to the Buyer for damages related to packaging damage that the Buyer did not note in the courier’s delivery document.
- 6.8. Eurocoins is not directly responsible for the delivery of coins to customers, but only uses the services provided by the Lithuanian Post and DPD.
7. Return and Exchange of Goods.
- 7.1. To return an item(s) based on point 7.1 of the Rules, the Buyer can do so within 14 (fourteen) business days from the day of delivery to the Buyer, informing the Seller using the contact methods specified in the contact section, indicating the name of the returned item, order number, and reasons for return.
- 7.2. When returning goods, the Buyer must comply with the following conditions:
- 7.2.1. the returned item must be in its original, neat packaging;
- 7.2.2. the item must not be damaged by the Buyer;
- 7.2.3. the item must be unused and retain its commercial appearance (labels intact, protective films not removed, etc.) (this clause does not apply when returning a defective item);
- 7.2.4. the returned item must be in the same configuration as received by the Buyer;
- 7.2.5. a purchase document must be provided when returning the item.
- 7.3. The Seller has the right not to accept the Buyer’s returned goods if the Buyer does not comply with the return procedure established in article 7.2.
- 7.4. When returning an incorrect or defective item, the Seller undertakes to collect such items and replace them with suitable identical items.
- 7.5. In the event that the Seller does not have suitable items for replacement, the amount paid to the Buyer is refunded, excluding the delivery price.
- 7.6. UNC quality (from rolls) coins ordered in the Eurocoins online store cannot be returned, as they may inherently have minor scratches resulting from the coin minting process.
- 7.7. BU quality or PROOF quality coins can be returned if there are obvious defects in the quality of the coins or their packaging not indicated by the Seller.
- 7.8. All numismatic items can be returned if they are “Leuchtturm” brand items mixed in packages or if there are obvious packaging defects not indicated by the Seller.
8. Buyer’s and Seller’s Liability.
- 8.1. The Buyer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided by the Buyer. If the Buyer does not provide accurate personal data in the registration form, the Seller is not responsible for the consequences arising from this and has the right to demand compensation for direct losses incurred by the Buyer.
- 8.2. The Buyer is responsible for actions performed using the Eurocoins online store.
- 8.3. The registered Buyer is responsible for transferring their login data to third parties. If a third party uses the services provided by the Eurocoins online store by logging in with the Buyer’s login data, the Seller considers this person to be the Buyer.
- 8.4. The Seller is released from any liability in cases where losses arise because the Buyer, disregarding the Seller’s recommendations and the Buyer’s obligations, did not familiarize themselves with these Rules, although such an opportunity was provided.
- 8.5. If the Seller’s online store contains links to websites of other companies, institutions, organizations, or individuals, the Seller is not responsible for the information or activities on those websites, does not supervise, control, or represent those companies and individuals.
- 8.6. In the event of damage, the guilty Party compensates the other Party for direct losses.
9. Marketing and Information.
- 9.1. The Seller may, at their discretion, initiate various promotions in the online store.
- 9.2. The Seller has the right to unilaterally, without separate notice, change the conditions of promotions, as well as cancel them. Any change or cancellation of promotion conditions and procedures is valid only going forward, i.e., from the moment they are made.
- 9.3. The Seller sends all notifications using the contact methods specified in the Buyer’s registration form.
- 9.4. The Buyer sends all notifications and questions using the phones or email addresses specified in the “Contacts” section of the Seller’s online store.
- 9.5. The Seller is not responsible if the Buyer does not receive sent informational or confirmation messages due to internet connection or email service provider network disruptions.
10. Final Provisions.
- 10.1. These Rules for the purchase/sale of goods are drawn up in accordance with the laws and legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- 10.2. All disputes arising from the execution of these Rules are resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes are resolved in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
