Austria 2022 3 euro color collector coin glowing under UV light – – Blue-ringed octopus.

This is the first coin in the “Glowing Water World” series.

The reverse of the coin features a wide band reminiscent of an ancient porthole, framing a water scene depicting a colored blue-ringed octopus. When the octopus is illuminated with UV light, its blue rings begin to glow, and its body changes color from yellow-brown to green. Two angelfish swim in the background. As with all coins in this series, a shell and a starfish can be seen on the left side and below the octopus on the right.

The obverse of the coin depicts silhouettes of all 12 magical sea creatures from the “Glowing Water World” series. Air bubbles rise among them, and the tail fin disappears beneath the waves on the right.
